The Trenton community can depend on the the food pantry to be open every morning Monday through Friday. All are welcome to come once each week, as needed. The number of people coming to the pantry continues to range from 50-70 households each day. This past Friday we served over 80, with staff reporting seeing many new faces and helping more families with children.
We continue outreach efforts to encourage SNAP enrollment (food stamps) and participation in the 2020 Census. Food bags are also provided to our partner nonprofits for home delivery.
Rich and Mike keep our food pantry going! Please support food drives and keep our pantry stocked. Contact Patricia at [email protected] for locations.
Home Health Nursing
We are happy to report that the 35 patients in our home health nursing program are remaining well! Weekly calls from our nurses not only include questions about physical needs and medication but also mental well-being. Our nurses are also making sure all are aware of additional resources such as 211, the New Jersey Hope Line 1.855.654.6735 and the New Jersey Mental Health Cares emotional support hotline during the Covid-19 Oubreak at 1.866.202.HELP.
